The Church Stile is the pub’s namesake. It has a dual aspect with windows on the north gable and views over the beautiful fell to the east. Their menu is small and specialises in amazing game from their own estate and wonderful meat from local farmers; right on the doorstep.
The Property
The king size luxury Hypnos mattress and fair trade down duvet and pillows make for a peaceful sleep. The beautiful handmade block printed headboard and lovingly restored original French antique chair, set off the room. The extra generous en-suite shower room with spacious shower tray, twin vanity unit, distinct blue and white tiling and herringbone terracotta floor all add to the rooms unique character.
The Church Stile includes a single trundle bed, suitable for a child or an adult. It is dog friendly, suitable for a maximum of two medium size dogs.

Each room has its own personality, in the weave of the fabric, hue of the walls, textures and antique gems.
All rooms have a spacious en-suite, king size Hypnos luxury mattress, power shower, smart TV, DAB blue tooth radio, hairdryer, mini fridge, fair trade down duvet and pillows, luxury cotton towels and bathrobes and sustainably made toiletries by The Bath House, made in Cumbria.
The kitchen is open for dinner on Wednesdays and for lunch and dinner Thursday to Sunday. Please remember to book your table, information is provided on your booking confirmation. Please note, the kitchen is closed Monday and Tuesday.
